In 2019, he was investigated for an alleged battery incident involving his young son, but no charges were filed. In 2023, Hill settled with an employee who accused him of assault after a verbal disagreement, but no charges were filed in that case either.
Despite his legal troubles, Hill has not faced disciplinary action from the NFL. He has continued to play and is an important player for the Dolphins. The team confirmed that Hill and his teammates are available for the game despite the incident. Hill’s agent and the team have not provided further details about the traffic incident or Hill’s detainment.
