Teri’s sports background and understanding of the demands of being a coach’s wife allowed her to fully invest in her husband’s career. The couple will also celebrate their 37th wedding anniversary this year.

After retiring as athletic director, Winger now enjoys retirement, spending time traveling, bird hunting, and maintaining the sports fields at Lake City. Despite leaving his coaching position, Winger remains connected to the school community by helping out with field maintenance during the summer and fall.
