Actor and comedian Anthony Anderson will once again host his 7th Annual Anthony Anderson Celebrity Golf Classic at the Bighorn Golf Club in Palm Desert next month. The event, taking place on May 18-19, will bring together A-list celebrities, sports figures, and entertainment industry icons for two days of golf, philanthropy, and celebration in support of nonprofit organizations that uplift children, young adults, and adults in health, wellness, faith, and mentorship.
Confirmed celebrity participants include Don Cheadle, Cedric the Entertainer, and many others. The tournament benefits the Anderson Family Foundation, a nonprofit organization co-founded by Anderson and his wife. Anderson, who grew up in Watts and Compton, emphasized the importance of giving back to help those who may not always receive the help they need.
The event will begin with a VIP Welcome Reception & Pairings Party on May 18, featuring dinner, entertainment, auctions, and a cigar lounge. The golf tournament starts the following day at 10 a.m. and concludes with an awards celebration at 3:30 p.m.
Anderson expressed his gratitude for the blessings he has received and the values instilled in him by his parents. Through partnering with organizations dedicated to educating and mentoring youth, he aims to provide confidence, protection, and hope to the next generation.
The 7th Annual Anthony Anderson Celebrity Golf Classic promises to be an exciting and impactful event, bringing together celebrities and supporters for a good cause.
