Press Release: Boise Off-Road and Outdoor Expo Celebrates Growing Motorized Recreation Scene
Boise, ID — The Boise Off-Road and Outdoor Expo is set to unite UTVs, ATVs, jeeps, and more at Expo Idaho, showcasing Idaho’s emergence as one of the fastest-growing motorized recreation areas in the West. "Idaho has been under the radar, but people are finally discovering its unique offerings," said Scott Phillips, co-founder of the event.
Phillips, who previously organized a similar event in Salt Lake, initiated this show to strengthen community ties and promote local businesses that fuel outdoor adventures. Among the exhibitors is 208 Off-Road Performance from Nampa, where owner Jeremy Holm highlighted the increasing popularity and performance improvements in UTVs. "This event allows us to connect with potential customers and enhance our visibility," he noted.
Designed to be family-friendly, the Expo offers exciting activities for children, including a giant shark slide and a remote control off-roading experience courtesy of Hobby Town. Adults can explore various customizable off-road vehicles. The Expo not only entertains but also educates, with seminars on safety, trail etiquette, and conservation—emphasizing the importance of "tread lightly" principles.
Phillips stressed the importance of maintaining open trails, noting that once closed, they rarely reopen. He remains optimistic, citing Idaho’s status as one of only two states with a Master Off-Road Association, allowing clubs to collaborate effectively.
