Idaho Athletes Shine on Academic All-District Team
Moscow, Idaho – In recognition of their outstanding academic and athletic achievements, four University of Idaho athletes have been named to the 2024-25 Academic All-District Teams by the College Sports Communicators. Jennifer Aadland, Hope Hassmann, Olivia Nelson, and Rosie Schweizer have excelled not only on the court but also in their studies, each maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
To qualify for this prestigious award, student-athletes must participate in at least 90% of their team’s competitions or start in 66% of the contests during the season. Schweizer has achieved this honor for the third time, while Aadland has received it twice. For Hassmann and Nelson, this marks their first recognition.
In addition to their All-District honors, Hassmann and Nelson have been selected as finalists for the CSC Academic All-American Team. They are among only five student-athletes from the Big Sky Conference to receive this distinction, with the final honors set to be announced on April 16.
The University of Idaho stands out as one of only two Big Sky schools with four athletes named to the Academic All-District teams, highlighting the institution’s commitment to both academic excellence and athletic performance.
