Tal’s Auto Spa Detailing Expands in Rexburg
REXBURG — Talmage Martindale, a 24-year-old entrepreneur from Ashton, has taken his passion for cleanliness to the next level with the opening of Tal’s Auto Spa Detailing in Rexburg. Located at 229 South 5th West, Suite 300, the detailing shop offers a range of services including interior and exterior washes, headlight restoration, waxing, and paint correction.
Martindale’s journey began three years ago with a mobile detailing service, but earlier this year, he secured a permanent location, allowing him to better serve his growing clientele. "It’s nice to have everything in a set location," he shared, noting that he now offers car pick-up for customers nearby, streamlining the experience.
The addition of a neighboring tint shop, co-owned with a friend, provides customers with a convenient “one-stop shop” for both cleaning and window tinting services. Since its launch, Tal’s Auto Spa has built a loyal customer base, and Martindale expresses gratitude for the community support.
His love for clean cars dates back to high school, where he’d clean vehicles during lunch to earn extra money, inspired by friends in Arizona who ran a similar business. Living with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Martindale finds solace in a clean and organized environment, making the transformation of each vehicle a rewarding experience.
Looking ahead, Martindale aims to expand his business further, hoping to hire a cleaning crew and step back from daily operations to focus on overseeing growth. Tal’s Auto Spa Detailing is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, visit their website or Facebook page.
