TWIN FALLS, Idaho — A tragic accident occurred on Sunday afternoon around 3:30 p.m. when a 1995 green Ford Ranger veered off the northwest viewpoint of the Perrine Bridge on US Highway 93. Idaho State Police (ISP) reported that the vehicle struck multiple surfaces during its descent into the canyon, resulting in the death of the driver, who was the sole occupant.

Authorities are currently investigating the incident. The Twin Falls Police Department and Jerome County Sheriff’s Office are assisting in the ongoing inquiry, while the Jerome County Coroner’s Office has taken custody of the deceased’s body. The identity of the driver has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin and the completion of the investigation.
