Meridian Man Arrested for Alleged Sexual Assaults at Waterpark
MERIDIAN (Idaho Statesman) — A 40-year-old man, Bo Gene Crisp, was arrested on Friday after multiple reports of sexual assault incidents involving children at Roaring Springs Waterpark. The Meridian Police Department responded to the scene around 5:15 p.m. following reports that Crisp had inappropriately touched a female child in the park’s wave pool.
During the investigation, police uncovered that at least two children could potentially be victims, with surveillance footage suggesting there may be more who have yet to come forward. Crisp was charged with lewd conduct with a minor under 16 and sexual battery of a minor child aged 16 or 17. He was subsequently transported to the Ada County Jail.
Roaring Springs management stated that park staff were alerted to Crisp’s inappropriate behavior around 4:30 p.m. by concerned guests. The staff promptly identified him and removed him from the premises.
